This is the mercedes benz 300 SL. the 300 standing for its engine. it had a 3 litre engine and it was the first engine to have the direct petrol injection system where the petrol is directly injected in to the cylinder while previously in the multi point fuel injection system it happened in the intake port.
this car also happens to be the first car to sport gullwing doors (the ones which open upwards as shown in the picture)
