No, Janet wasn't one of the sisters !

The Genain quadruplets (born in 1930) are a set of identical quadruplet sisters notable for all having x , suggesting a large genetic component to the cause of the disease. The fictitious name Genain, used to protect the identity of the family, comes from the Greek, meaning dire birth. The (equally fictitious) names of the sisters, by order of birth, are Nora, Iris, Myra and Hester. Three of the sisters (all but Myra) were hospitalized for x at least once.
What is x ?
There was a particular reason behind choosing these names . What?

The (fictitious) names of the sisters are Nora, Iris, Myra and Hester. These names were chosen to represent each of the four letters in NIMH, the acronym for the United States National Institute of Mental Health.

X is Schizophrenia.
The reason behind choosing their names was that the first letter of each name joined together is the acronym NIMH, which stands for National Institute of Medical Health.

These names were chosen to create an abbreviation NIMH, and NIMH stands for National Institute of Mental Health.
